1 liang of Schizonepeta spikelets, 1 liang of red peony root, 2 liang of processed Atractylodes, and half a liang of licorice (roasted).

Instructions for Use

Take 1–2 qian per dose. For common cold and typhoid fever with high fever, cough, nasal congestion, and hoarseness, take with a decoction of fresh ginger and scallion whites; for common cold with intermittent fever or fever due to "bianzheng," take with a peppermint decoction;For wind-heat affecting the lungs with runny nose and labored breathing, take with Perilla Decoction; for sudden, severe convulsions with heat, take with the Wind-Dispelling Powder; for acute or chronic convulsive fever following a prolonged illness, take with the Infant-Protecting Whole Scorpion Powder; for inducing sweating, take with the Ephedra Decoction (without nodes); for night sweats or spontaneous sweating, take with the Oyster Shell and Floating Barley Decoction;For erysipelas due to wind-heat, prepare Si Shun Yin Decoction to administer the medicine; for sudden redness, heat, and swelling of the eyes, prepare Qianghuo, Huangqin, and Sheng Dihuang Decoction to administer the medicine; for heat, swelling, and sores in the mouth, tongue, cheeks, and neck, prepare Fangfeng and Niubangzi Decoction to administer the medicine; for swelling and pain in the throat and a swollen tongue, prepare Shengma, Zhike, Da Huang, Fangfeng, and Bohe Decoction to administer the medicine.
