Drug Formulation

Half a liang of sweet chrysanthemum flowers, 4 liang of Eucommia bark (coarse bark removed, lightly roasted until pale yellow), 2 liang of Angelica root, 2 liang of Dendrobium (roots removed), 1 liang of Astragalus root,2 liang of Cistanche (chopped, with wrinkled skin removed), 2 liang of Cinnamon Bark, 2 liang of Fangfeng (with root tip removed), 2 liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), 2 liang of Smilax, 2 liang of Du Huo, 4 liang of Stalactite Powder, 2 liang of Poria, and 2 liang of Cornus.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, place them in a raw silk bag, and steep in 2 dou of fine wine in a porcelain jar. Seal tightly; open and retrieve the contents after 7 days in spring and summer, or 14 days in autumn and winter.
