Drug Formulation

3 liang of Chrysanthemum flowers, 3 liang of Tussilago flowers, 3 liang of Wu Bai Zheng, 3 liang of Poria cocos, 3 liang of Achyranthes root, 3.5 liang of Rubus fruit (roasted), and 1.5 liang of Eclipta seeds.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine; take another 30 pills after a meal; after a considerable time, drink a small amount of wine to stimulate the medicine’s efficacy. Take three doses daily in this manner. Within two months, the beard, hair, and sideburns will be as black as a crow.

Note

Avoid raw radishes, pork or mutton blood, scallions, and garlic.
