Drug Formulation

1 jin of Sha Yuan Tribulus (first remove the spines, grind into a powder; take 4 liang of the pure powder; soak the remaining residue in water for 3–5 days, extract the liquid, and boil it down in a pot to make a paste for later use), 4 liang of lotus stamen filaments (yellow ones), 4 liang of euryale seed, 2 liang of goji berries, 2 liang of dodder seed cakes,4 liang of fresh Cornus officinalis flesh, 2 liang of Rubus chingii berries (stems removed, mixed with wine and steamed), 2 liang of Dipsacus asper (soaked in wine overnight, then dried in an oven), 3 liang of Rosa laevigata seeds (outer spines and inner pulp removed), and 5 qian of genuine dragon bone (five-colored variety, calcined and soaked in a child’s urine seven times).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, combine them, and mix with the previously prepared Tribulus terrestris paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
