Drug Formulation

1 fen of borneol (finely ground), 1 liang of cold-water stone, half a liang of salt flowers, 1 liang of gypsum (finely ground), half a liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, half a liang of Angelica dahurica, half a liang of Ligusticum wallichii, 1 liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, half a liang of Asarum, and half a liang of Longhua Rui.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. In a mortar, grind in the borneol, then transfer the mixture to a porcelain container. Separately, take 3 jin of plump, high-quality raw Rehmannia root, finely slice it with a bamboo knife, sun-dry it, mix it with salt flower water, and stir-fry it in a copper vessel until black. Next, take 3 liang of Jushengzi seeds and stir-fry them until black. Take half a jin of pig’s-tooth soapberry, soak it in salt water overnight, and roast it until black. Then, take half a liang of Hu Tong tears,3 liang of Achyranthes root, and pound them together into a fine powder. Sift this mixture and add it to the previous powder, stirring until well blended.

Instructions for Use

Brush your teeth with this mixture every morning and before bedtime.
