Drug Formulation

Trifoliate Orange Peel (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran) 2 liang and a half, Gallnut (ash and dirt removed) 2 liang, Astragalus (honey-fried until yellow, coarsely chopped) 2 liang,Acacia flowers 2 liang, Acacia buds 2 liang, pig’s hooves 21 pieces (all of the above should be stir-fried until charred, then sorted and cleaned), Equisetum 2.5 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (soaked in rice wash until soft, sliced with a bamboo knife, dried in an oven, ground into powder in a stone mortar, and mixed with the other herbs) 3 liang,Soapberry seeds 3 liang, Stinky tangerines 100 pieces, Hedgehog skin 1 piece, Soapberry thorns 4 liang, Ketu vine seeds 3 pieces (place each of the above 4 ingredients in a separate earthenware jar; seal with salt mud, leaving one opening for smoke to escape; burn over charcoal fire until the smoke from each has completely dissipated; remove from heat, allow to cool, then take out and grind into a fine powder).
