Benefits

For a cold fistula affecting the heart, arising in the epigastric region: at the onset, the epigastrium feels as if on fire; the toxin first erodes the pericardium internally before emerging through the skin, causing mental confusion and profuse night sweats. Within two days, the affected area turns red; the tongue resembles the back of a chicken’s comb, with heat present both internally and externally. This formula is also effective for suppurating back sores, abscesses and boils, oral ulcers, leg ulcers, and genital sores.

Instructions for Use

First, wash the sore with strong bitter tea. After drying it with soft silk, slice a pork kidney, mix 1–2 fen of the medicine with the kidney slices, and apply the mixture to the affected area. Leave it on until the kidney becomes hot as if steamed, then remove it after a long time. If pus oozes from the sore, do not squeeze it out by hand. On the second day, reapply the mixture using the same method, and do the same on the third day.For severe cases, apply the poultice 7–9 times; for small sores, a single application is sufficient for healing. If the pork kidney does not become warm, discontinue treatment.

Note

Avoid consuming mutton, fish, goose, chicken, dog meat, duck, and toxic vegetables.
