Drug Formulation

1 jin of white Poria (peeled and cleaned), half a jin of large red dates (boiled to remove skin and pits, flesh retained), 6 liang of walnut meat (shelled, soaked, and coarse skin removed),6 jin of white honey (boil in a pot until rolling; add the first three ingredients and mix well; then simmer over low heat until it becomes a paste; pour into a porcelain jar; add 20 jin of southern rice wine and 10 jin of glutinous rice white wine, and combine everything in the honey jar), honey-fried Astragalus membranaceus, ginseng, Atractylodes macrocephala (stem removed), Angelica sinensis, Ligusticum chuanxiong,White Peony Root (roasted), Raw Rehmannia Root, Prepared Rehmannia Root, Fennel Seed, Rubus Fruit, Dried Tangerine Peel, Agarwood, Wood Fragrance, Sweet Goji Berries, Cassia Bark, Amomum, Licorice, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Northern Schisandra Berry.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly in a honey-coated jar, seal the opening with bamboo shoot leaves, secure the outside with flour, and place the jar in a pot. Boil over a strong wood fire for the duration of two incense sticks, then remove and bury in the ground for three days to remove the heat toxicity.
