Drug Formulation

Pangolin Scale 1 qian (Take 4 liang of pangolin scale—preferably from a four-legged specimen—and process in four separate methods: for 1 liang, boil the scale pieces with 5 qian of Lithospermum root until dry, then sun-dry; for 1 liang, boil the scale pieces with 5 qian of safflower until dry, then sun-dry; for 1 liang, boil the scale pieces with 5 qian of soapwort until dry, then sun-dry; for 1 liang, boil the scale pieces with 5 qian of sappanwood until dry, then sun-dry),Centipede Powder: 1 qian (Take 16 centipedes and process them in four different ways: roast 4 with sesame oil until dry; roast 4 with strong vinegar until dry; roast 4 with pure ghee until dry; roast 4 with ginger juice until dry. Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with good rice vinegar to form a paste, then shape into pills, each weighing 1 qian 2 fen; add 5 fen of musk; let them cure in a jar, then store.
