Drug Formulation

1–2 qian of Cinnamomum cassia, 3–4 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 qian of fried licorice, tangerine peel (use as appropriate; may be omitted), and 2–3 qian of Ephedra.

Instructions for Use

Decoct the above ingredients in 1.5 zhong of water with 5–7 or 10 slices of fresh ginger until reduced to 8 fen; skim off the foam and take as needed. The treatment is complete when a light, profuse sweat is induced. It may be used in all four seasons.
