Drug Formulation

2 liang of hemp seeds (ground), 5 liang of rhubarb (chopped and stir-fried).

Processing

First, grind the rhubarb into a fine powder; mix it thoroughly with the ground hemp seeds; then, use refined honey to form pills the size of a tung seed.

Benefits

Effective for beriberi and difficult, dry bowel movements.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 pills each time, washed down with warm wine before meals; ginger soup may also be used. Take twice daily until stools become loose and slippery. If not cured, increase the dose to 20 pills.
