Drug Formulation

Dried ginger (roasted) 1 liang, Coptis (stems removed) 1 liang, Amomum villosum (roasted) 1 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 1 liang, Donkey-hide gelatin (chopped and roasted with clam powder) 1 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang, Frankincense 3 qian (ground separately), Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed and roasted) half a liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Combine with the flesh of 3 salted plums and a small amount of vinegar, then pound into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 40 pills per dose: for white diarrhea, take with dried ginger decoction; for red diarrhea, take with licorice decoction; for mixed red and white diarrhea, take with dried ginger and licorice decoction. Take as needed, regardless of the time of day.
