Drug Formulation
Coptis (chopped into bean-sized pieces) 1 liang (soaked overnight in a child’s urine, sun-dried, and ground into powder), Orpiment (water-floated) 3 liang, Angelica sinensis (finely ground) 2 qian, Musk (ground separately) 5 fen,Frankincense (ground separately) 0.5 fen, Bismuth Subnitrate (ground separately) 1 qian, Arsenic Sulfide (ground separately) 1 qian, White Clove (powdered) 1 qian, Cuttlefish Bone (powdered) 1 qian, Borneol (a small amount, powdered), and Reeds and Glycyrrhiza Stone 6 liang (prepare separately by chopping 1 liang of Coptis into bean-sized pieces, placing them in water, and heating the Reeds and Glycyrrhiza Stone until red-hot, then quenching it 7 times).

Processing
First, take 10 liang of high-quality white sand honey and boil it in a silver vessel or earthenware pot for 5–7 boils. Use clean paper to skim off the wax layer. Add all the remaining ingredients except the yellow lead oxide, stir well with a willow wood spoon, then add the yellow lead oxide and stir again. Continue stirring over low heat until the mixture turns purple. Next, mix the frankincense, musk, bismuth subnitrate, and realgar thoroughly, then incorporate them into the mixture until it no longer sticks to your hands.Quickly roll the mixture into pills the size of a soapberry and wrap them in paper.
