Mu Ru (soapberry root bark, harvested in autumn or winter; select bark with a net-like pattern, air-dried, then fried with butter until yellow), Tribulus seeds (roasted to remove spines), Astragalus (chopped), Ginseng, Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed, fried with wheat bran), and Licorice (processed)—all in equal parts.
