Drug Formulation

21 cun of Sophora root, 21 cun of willow bark, 21 cun of mulberry bark, 21 cun of elm bark, 21 cun of mugwort, 1 liang of elephant skin, 1 piece of donkey shell, 7 pieces of Gleditsia seed, 6 qian of processed turtle shell, 4 qian of cicada exuviae, 2 qian of snake exuviae, 3 egg whites, and 3 qian of human hair.

Processing

Simmer with 3 jin of sesame oil; thicken with orpiment; mix in 1 liang 5 qian of beeswax along with 5 qian of rhinoceros fat, 5 qian of dragon’s blood, 5 qian of calcined oyster shell, 3 qian of powdered frankincense, and 3 qian of powdered myrrh; stir until uniform.
