Drug Formulation

Half a qian of ground ox bile, half a liang of ginseng, 1 fen of raw rhinoceros horn powder, 1 fen of ground borax, 1 fen of white Poria (with the black core removed), 1 fen of mint, 1 fen of ground frankincense, 1 fen of licorice (roasted and coarsely chopped),ground well spring stone 1 fen, ground black gold stone 1 fen, raw dried rehmannia (roasted) 1 fen, gastrodia 1 fen.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, then simmer with honey in a silver vessel until it becomes a decoction.
