Drug Formulation

3 liang of ground牵牛子 (simmered over low heat with half a sheng of ginger juice and 1 sheng of wine until it becomes a paste), 1 liang of 木香, 1 liang of 附子 (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), 1.5 liang of 鳖甲 (coated with vinegar and roasted until yellow, with frills removed), 1 liang of 槟榔,1.5 liang of peach kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow; ground and added), half a liang of Evodia fruit (soaked in hot water seven times, oven-dried, and lightly stir-fried), and 1 liang of borax (free of impurities; finely ground and added).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with a decoction of Pharbitis seeds until dissolved, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
