Drug Formulation

Myrrh 3 qian, Indigo Powder 3 qian, Lead White 3 qian, Pearl-shaped Purple Euphorbia (lightly roasted) 3 qian, Talc 3 qian, Raw Borneol 2 qian, Mercury (half liang) and Black Lead (half liang), fused into granules according to standard method; use an amount the size of three soap nuts each time.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; boil fresh mint in water to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1–2 pills per dose. In cases of extreme heat, dissolve with Ophiopogon and borneol in warm or cold water; for severe dryness, squeeze fresh mint to extract its natural juice, mix with borneol, and take; to ward off all summer heat toxins, dissolve with freshly drawn water and borneol; for infantile convulsions, dissolve with a cold decoction of gold, silver, and mint, mixed with borneol.
