Drug Formulation

4 liang of blue sheep fat, 3 liang of licorice, 3 liang of peony root, 4 fen of white angelica, 4 fen of cold water stone, 4 fen of防风, 4 fen of scutellaria, 4 fen of bletilla, 4 fen of astragalus, 4 fen of cimicifuga, 1 sheng of gypsum, and 1 sheng of bamboo leaves (sliced).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. First, boil gypsum and bamboo leaves in 8 sheng of water until reduced to 4 sheng; strain out the residue. Soak the remaining herbs in this liquid, then add 2 sheng of pork fat (from a pig that has not consumed water) and boil together. Once the ointment is ready, apply it to the affected area for excellent results.
