Processing

Grind the cinnabar separately; finely grind the remaining ingredients. Mix them thoroughly, then use refined honey to form pills. Large pills weigh 1 qian 4 fen each; small pills weigh 7 fen each. Coat with bright red gold, wrap in cotton paper, and seal with wax paper.

Instructions for Use

Adults: 1 large pill per dose; children aged 5–10: 1 small pill per dose; children over 2 years old: 1/2 small pill per dose; infants under one year old: 1/3 small pill per dose. Administer with a decoction of mulberry leaves, chrysanthemum flowers, mint, and fresh ginger as a vehicle.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women; avoid fishy, spicy, and rich foods.
