Formulas Name : Qiushi Wujing Pills

Chinese Name : 秋石五精丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Autumn Stone (collected from clean, odor-free boys and girls; have them bathe, change into clean clothes, and gather in separate rooms; provide them with clean food and drink as well as salted water; avoid scallions, garlic, Chinese chives, beef, and unclean substances; it is especially beneficial to avoid pepper and tea).Collect the children’s urine until each jar is full; then, boil the boys’ and girls’ urine separately to produce autumn stone, store each in a separate earthenware jar, seal with salt mud, secure with iron wire, and heat until the scent of one stick of incense is released. Replace the iron wire and repeat this process seven times. Then, weigh the boys’ and girls’ autumn stone equally and mix them together. If it forms a lump, grind it open and filter it through seven layers of paper soaked in dragon water. Boil the mixture again in a pot until the autumn stone turns snow-white.Mix with the fragrant, pure breast milk of a woman who has recently given birth to a male child. Expose it to the sun by day and the moonlight by night; whenever it dries, add more breast milk. After 49 days, when it has fully absorbed the essence of the sun and moon, incorporate it into the medicine. (It will only be effective when used in the “Five Essences Pill” formula.) Lotus seed kernels: 5 qian; genuine Sichuan pepper: 2 fen; fennel seeds: 5 qian; white poria: 1 liang.
