Drug Formulation

4 liang of Sophora flavescens, 3 liang of Mentha, 3 liang of Angelica dahurica, 3 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 4 liang of Sinapis spica, 4 liang of Forsythia, 5 liang of Dictamnus bichromus bark, 3 liang of Herba Eupatorium, 3 liang of Rheum, 3 liang of Atractylodes lancea, 4 liang of Clematis, 10 liang of crushed Maplesi seeds, 5 liang of crushed Gallnut, and 20 jin of sesame oil.

Processing

Soak the herbs in sesame oil for one day and one night, then fry over low heat until golden brown. Filter the mixture, adding 5 fen of indigo powder per jin of oil. Mix the powder with the oil for topical application, or apply the oil first and then sprinkle the powder over it. It may also be used as a cleanser.
