Drug Formulation

Half a liang of ginseng, half a liang of lotus seed meat, half a liang of Evodia fruit (peeled), half a liang of Mesi, half a liang of dried Chinese yam, 1 fen of Coptis (pounded; mix the Coptis with 1 fen of Pinellia powder, stir-fry until the Pinellia turns black, then discard the Pinellia powder), 1 fen of Wood Fragrance, half a fen of Atractylodes, half a fen of White Peony, and half a fen of Angelica.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a sesame seed using a thin paste.
