Ginseng Tonifying the Root Decoction,In cases of warm disease characterized by extreme deficiency and extreme heat, where the patient clutches at the air beneath their clothing and is unable to defecate—a condition that is certain to lead to death—if the patient subsequently experiences shivering chills in the limbs, palpitations and anxiety as if being pursued, cold extremities, dizziness and confusion, and stiffness in the neck and back, these are signs of severe deficiency and portend imminent danger. This formula should be administered to save the patient. It is also indicated for deficiency-heat causing internal steaming, coughing, wheezing, and regurgitation.

Ginseng 2 qian, Prepared Rehmannia 3 qian, Raw Rehmannia 2 qian, Angelica 2 qian, Hangzhou Chrysanthemum 1 qian 5 fen, Asparagus Root (without core) 1 qian, Ophiopogon (without core) 1 qian, Schisandra 1 qian, Tangerine Peel 1 qian, Anemarrhena 1 qian, Licorice (roasted) 1 qian.

Benefits

Instructions for Use
