Honeysuckle vine (fresh) 5 liang, large licorice nodes 1 liang.

Instructions for Use

Add 2 bowls of water and decoct until reduced to 1 bowl; add 1 bowl of high-quality, ash-free wine, bring to a boil several times, strain, and divide into 3 doses to be taken over the course of one day and night; for severe cases, take two doses within one day and night, continuing until urination and defecation are unimpeded. Separately, take one handful of honeysuckle vine, pound it into a paste, mix with a small amount of wine, and apply to the area surrounding the sore.

Note

Not suitable for those with qi deficiency or a predominance of cold.
