Formulas Name : Rongfu Pills

Chinese Name : 茸附丸

Drug Formulation

1 piece of yellow dog’s spine (remove both ends, cut into 5–7 sections, retaining some meat), 1 liang of realgar (ground; mix thoroughly with 2 sheng of whey; then immerse the spine in the mixture for 3 days; dry over charcoal fire until the liquid is completely absorbed and the spine turns yellow; grind finely before combining with the other ingredients), 1 liang of cinnamon bark (peeled), 1 liang of aconite root (roasted),Cuscuta seeds (soaked in wine for 2 days, steamed, then dried until crisp) 1 liang, Eucommia bark (processed with ginger) 1 liang, Dried ginger (roasted) 1 liang, Deer antler gelatin (roasted) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine, then baked) 1 liang,Cnidium seeds (roasted) half liang, fenugreek half liang, Yangqishi (simmered in wine for 1 day, ground) half liang, deer antler velvet (honey-roasted) 1.5 liang, yellow dog’s internal and external kidneys 1 set (simmered in wine, baked dry).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with 5 liang of date pulp and 1 liang of clarified butter to form pills the size of mung beans, then sun-dry them.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills at a time, washed down with salted water.
