Drug Formulation

2 cardamom pods (shells removed), 1.5 liang of ginseng, 1.5 liang of Aconite (roasted until cracked, skin and pith removed), 1.5 liang of Angelica sinensis (sliced, roasted), 1.5 liang of Areca nut (chopped), 1.5 liang of Sanguisorba officinalis, 1.5 liang of Curcuma zedoaria (roasted, chopped), 1 liang of Coptis chinensis (top removed),Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang, Aquilaria agallocha 1 liang, Poria cocos (black skin removed) half liang, Cinnamomum cassia (coarse bark removed) half liang, Scutellaria baicalensis (black core removed) half liang, Dried ginger (cracked) half liang, Cinnabar 2 liang, Peach kernels 20 (skin and tips removed, double kernels separated, stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using soft, well-cooked millet rice.
