Drug Formulation

2 liang of sulfur (finely ground), 2 liang of Chuanxiong, 2 liang of wax-processed tea, 2 liang of mint (stems and stalks removed), 2 liang of processed Chuanwu, 2 liang of sodium carbonate (ground), and 2 liang of raw Rehmannia.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with the natural juice of fresh scallions to form pills.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, first rinse the mouth with freshly drawn water and spit it out; then chew 5–7 fresh mint leaves until slightly pulverized; chew one pill together with the mint until thoroughly pulverized, and swallow with well water. In severe cases, take three consecutive doses for a cure;For swollen cheeks and a swollen tongue, first take one tablet orally, then place another tablet directly on the affected area; the condition will subside as the medicine takes effect. To treat heatstroke or latent heat resulting in loss of consciousness, dissolve one tablet in fresh mint water and administer it; the patient will regain consciousness immediately. If you carry one tablet with you while traveling and keep it in your mouth, you will be protected from latent heat;For mouth and tongue sores that prevent closing the mouth or eating hot foods, follow the method described above. After taking the pill, rinse your mouth with water, chew 10 mint leaves until they become a paste, spit them out, rinse again with water, then chew one pill and hold it in your mouth, coating it with saliva.
