Chinese Name : 三黄膏

Drug Formulation

Half a qian of realgar (ground separately), half a qian of orpiment (ground separately), half a qian of arsenic (ground separately), 1 liang of white alum (ground separately), 1 liang of yellow丹, 1 liang of Cnidium monnieri (powdered), 1 liang of *Lüru*, 1 qian of white frankincense (ground separately), and 1 qian of mercury carbonate.

Processing

Combine the above ingredients with 4 liang of sesame oil and 4 seeds of croton. Simmer until the oil turns yellow, then remove the croton seeds and add the remaining ingredients. Add a small amount of beeswax and boil down to form a paste.

For sores, ringworm, scabies, and nodular eruptions; as well as vitiligo.

Instructions for Use

First wash the affected area with Schizonepeta Decoction, then apply the ointment.
