Drug Formulation

Frankincense 2 qian, Myrrh 2 qian, Genuine Dragon’s Blood 2 qian, Renyan 2 qian, Catechu 2 qian, Refined Indigo Powder 1 qian, Toad Venom 1 qian, Elephant Skin (baked on a tile) 1 qian, Dangmenzi 6 fen, Plum Blossom Borneol 4 fen.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take about 10 jujubes (peeled and pitted), mix them with the powder in a mortar, and pound with a stone pestle until thoroughly blended to form pills the size of a water caltrop. Separately, grind 2 qian of cinnabar into a very fine powder and sift it to use as a coating. Store in a porcelain jar, ensuring no air escapes.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill at a time, add a small amount of white honey, mix thoroughly, and apply to the center of the abscess. Cover with cotton paper; it will completely resolve overnight. If the infection is severe and not fully resolved, apply once more the following day.
