Drug Formulation

Aconite Root (soaked in 1 zhan of rice washing water with half a liang of fresh ginger for 3 days; then stir-fried with clam powder; remove the skin and navel) half a liang,Qianghuo, cinnabar, and scorpion tail, each half liang; 2 pieces of Southern Star (each weighing 1 liang; remove skin and navel, chop into chess-piece-sized slices; soak in 1 bowl of sour fruit juice with 1 fen of sliced ginger; boil the sour fruit juice, soak the slices in it, remove the ginger, and bake dry. Southern Star processed in ox bile is particularly effective); 1 fen of musk; 1 fen of frankincense.
