Drug Formulation

Half a jin of Huanlian (extract the juice, sun-dry into a paste), 1 jin of Poguzhi (roasted until fragrant, ground into powder), Wujiapai (soaked in wine for one day and one night, then sun-dried),Red Poria (peeled, soaked in milk; cow’s milk may be substituted), and Raw Rehmannia (soaked in wine for one day and one night, extract the juice, and sun-dry into a paste)—2 jin each; Red Dates (peeled, boiled until tender) and Fresh Ginger (extract the juice, sun-dry into a paste)—2 jin each; Eucommia Bark (peeled, roasted to remove fibers, ground into powder)—half a jin; Walnut Kernels (shelled)—half a jin;Chuanxiong 4 liang, Goji berries (stems removed, soaked in wine) 4 liang, Mieshi 2 liang, honey (thoroughly refined) 2 liang, Asarum 1 liang.

Processing

Except for the peach kernels, red dates, and honey, grind all other ingredients into a fine powder. Boil the peach kernels, red dates, and honey together, then shape the mixture into pills the size of a tung tree seed.
