Drug Formulation

Licorice (roasted) 2 liang, Scutellaria baicalensis 4 liang, soybean sprouts 4 liang, dried ginger 4 liang, Evodia fruit 4 liang, hemp seed kernels 4 liang, barley (roasted; one formula substitutes glutinous rice) 4 liang, Cinnamomum cassia bark 7 qian and a half.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take one fangcun bi per dose on an empty stomach before meals, washed down with wine or warm water.

Note

This formula should only be taken after the onset of menstruation. For 30 days thereafter, one should move with caution and avoid rushing to the restroom, lest one unknowingly fall to the ground.
