Drug Formulation

2 fen of Bupleurum, 2 fen of Notopterygium, 2 fen of dried white alum, 2 fen of Atractylodes, 2 fen of Cimicifuga, 5 fen of Sichuan Aconite, 5 fen of large black pepper, 5 fen of Amomum seeds, 7 fen of garlic, 8 fen of Polygonum multiflorum (boiled with garlic, then dried in an oven and weighed), 3 whole scorpions, and a small amount of musk.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with 3 qian of Longyan ointment (used for sitz baths), and knead with honey to form pills the size of a marble.
