Drug Formulation

2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala (steamed three times in lotus leaf wrappings), 8 qian of Guangpi, 5 qian of hawthorn, 5 qian of Coptis chinensis (stir-fried with Evodia fruit, then remove the Evodia), 8 qian of fried licorice, 7 qian of Scutellaria baicalensis (stir-fried with wine), 1 qian of Wood Fragrance, 8 qian of Zhi Shi (stir-fried with wheat bran),Atractylodes lancea 2 liang (preferably from Maoshan; soaked in rice washing water and sun-dried three times, then mixed evenly with salt water), Poria 1 liang (steamed with human milk), Ginseng 7 qian, Pinellia 8 qian (decocted with white alum solution and ginger), Angelica sinensis 1 liang (washed with wine), White Peony Root 1 liang (stir-fried with wine), frost-exposed mulberry leaves 4 liang (veins removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with bamboo sap, ginger juice, and lotus leaf juice to form a paste with Shenqu, then roll into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Take 2 qian on an empty stomach, washed down with hot water.
