6 liang of aged ash, 1 liang of rhubarb, 3 qian of ash from a child’s hair, 3 qian of frankincense, 3 qian of myrrh, and 3 qian of pollen from the water plantain (lightly roasted).

Processing

Roast the quicklime and rhubarb together until the quicklime turns purple; grind into a fine powder and mix thoroughly. Take a young mouse whose eyes have not yet opened, pound it until extremely fine, mix it with the medicine, and pound again until thoroughly blended. Form into a cake, wrap in cloth, hang to dry in the shade, then grind into a powder.
