Drug Formulation

1 jin of high-quality colophony (ground into powder), 4 liang of castor bean pulp, and 4 liang of herb ash.

Processing

First, pound the castor bean pulp until it is mushy; then gradually mix in the herb ash and ground rosin, pounding until well blended. Pound with a pestle over a thousand times to form a paste.
