Drug Formulation

Powdered dragon bone (use the five-colored variety; calcined in yin-yang tiles) 1 qian; Yangqi stone (authentic when it exhibits a “sun-like” flickering motion) 3 qian; White angelica root (roasted dry in a copper vessel; the yellow variety is best) 3 qian;Castor seeds (remove shells, use seeds only; remove floating oil) 49 seeds, Spring-harvested cassia bark (dried, ground into an extremely fine powder) 5 qian, Amomum (remove shells, dry-roast, wash with wine, then bake) 1 qian, Poplar catkins (baked, ground into powder) 1 qian, Ginseng stalks (ground into a fine powder) 5 qian,Goji berries (pits removed; clean flesh stir-fried until dry), Shexiang (sun-dried, ground into a powder) 1 qian, Purple-tipped flower (preferably with a lustrous purple color) 1 qian, Northern Asarum (soaked in water overnight, stir-fried until dry, ground into a powder) 3 qian, Cistanche (preferably red, baked dry, ground into a powder) 1 qian, Genuine cassia bark (bark removed, ground into a fine powder) 2 qian,Land Duckweed (preferably plump; use clean leaves) 3 qian, Evodia Fruit (soaked in vinegar overnight, stir-fried until dry) 2 qian, Pomegranate Peel (dried in a yin-yang tile oven, ground into a fine powder) 1 qian, Sichuan Pepper (preferably with split caps, ground into a powder) 1 qian, Genuine Opium Paste 1 qian, Cistanche (washed with vinegar) 3 qian, Elephant Skin (ground into a powder, 1 qian).

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into an extremely fine powder, weigh the required amounts, and use semi-raw honey to form pills the size of a longan seed. Coat the exterior with clove oil, then add a layer of wax.

Instructions for Use

On the day menstruation ceases, remove the wax coating and place the pill inside the home; after about the time it takes to eat a meal, the medicine will dissolve and take effect. It is invariably effective.
