Drug Formulation

4 liang of Coptis, 2 liang of Poria, 3 liang of White Peony Root, and 1 liang of Donkey-hide Gelatin (roasted and ground into a fine powder).

Processing

Grind the first three ingredients into a fine powder; simmer the donkey-hide gelatin with good vinegar until it forms a thin paste, then roll into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
