Decoct in 1 shi of water; when pine resin floats to the surface, skim it off and place it in cold water, then return it to the decoction. Dry in the sun, pound, and grind into powder, yielding 1 dou, 1 sheng, and 2 he and a half. For the initial fermentation, use 4 dou of water to soak the malt. Once the malt has fermented, add 1 dou 5 sheng of millet. Mix the pine resin powder with the cooked rice, following the standard fermentation method. Proceed step by step to prepare the mixture. For each batch of malt, following the standard fermentation method, add an additional 1 dou of freshly cooked millet, mix with pine resin powder and add to the first batch. Then, cook 3 dou of glutinous rice in batches, mix with pine resin powder and add to the mash. Next, cook 2 dou of glutinous rice in batches, mix thoroughly with pine resin powder. Use all the pine resin powder until it is completely incorporated into the rice; for every 1 dou of rice, use 1 sheng 5 he of pine resin powder. After adding it to the mash, press out the sediment and collect the clear wine.Take 5 he per dose, sipping slowly; this may be taken 4–5 times a day and night. Gradually increase the dose to 1 sheng, drinking it warm at your own discretion, maintaining a constant state of mild intoxication with continuous consumption.
