Processing

Wash the ingredients thoroughly, then slice or crush them. Soak them in 20 jin of sesame oil for 7 to 10 days. Transfer the mixture to a pot and simmer over low heat until the color darkens. Strain out the residue, then continue simmering the oil for about 2 hours until it forms beads when a drop is held up to the light. Remove the pot from the heat, add 60 liang of yellow lead powder (roasted and finely sifted), and slowly sift it into the pot while stirring continuously.Once the ointment is formed, store it.
