Drug Formulation

1 jin of aged, finely ground Lu’an tea; 4 liang of hawthorn (steamed until tender); 4 liang of barley malt; 4 liang of perilla leaves; 4 liang of aged tangerine peel; 4 liang of magnolia bark; 4 liang of dried ginger (all stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, store in a porcelain container, and keep in a high, dry place.

For common cold, cough, fever, headache, indigestion, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Instructions for Use

Adults: 3 qian per dose; children: 1 qian. For wind-cold colds, take with scallion and ginger soup; for internal disorders, take with ginger soup; for watery diarrhea or dysentery, add ginger water, decoct, let stand overnight, and take warm on an empty stomach the next morning.
