Drug Formulation

3 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1–2 qian of dried ginger (roasted), 1.5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 2 qian of Chinese yam (roasted), 2–3 qian of processed Aconite root (wrapped in damp paper, steamed, and used while hot), 1 qian of licorice (roasted), 1.5 qian of white peony root (steamed), 1 qian of fresh ginger, and 3 red dates.

Instructions for Use

Decoct in water and take orally. If the patient exhibits false fever and resists taking the decoction, administer it ice-cold.
