Drug Formulation

2 liang of melon seeds (cleaned and stir-fried until yellow), 1.5 liang of dried papaya (peeled and seeded), 1 liang of Wilfordia root, and 0.5 liang of Sichuan aconite (roasted, with skin and pith removed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from wheat flour boiled in wine to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine. Rest briefly in a draft-free place until you break a sweat. If the condition affects the upper body, take after meals; if it affects the lower body, take before meals.

Note

On the day of taking the medicine, avoid hot foods and incompatible herbs such as Pinellia, Trichosanthes, Fritillaria, and Bletilla.
