Drug Formulation

20 jin of scrap iron (heated until red-hot, soaked in 5 dou of water for three nights, then strain to remove the iron and clarify the liquid), 30 jin of cork tree root (boiled in 1 shi of water to yield 55 dou of decoction, then strain to remove the dregs and clarify the liquid).

Processing

Combine the above herbs with 2 shi of rice and 2 dou of malt, and brew according to standard methods. Once the wine is ready, open the container. Grind 3 jin of magnetite (which attracts iron) into a fine powder, add it to the wine, and let it steep for three nights.
