Drug Formulation
Rhubarb 16 liang (for 4 liang, use 4 liang of red safflower; soak in water to extract the juice for 1 day; discard the safflower; for the remaining 4 liang, soak in a child’s urine with 2 qian of salt for 1 day, then remove and sun-dry; discard the urine;for 4 liang, soak in good wine for one day until softened, slice into pieces the size of an apricot kernel, sun-dry, then stir-fry with 35 peeled croton seeds until golden yellow; discard the croton seeds; for 4 liang, soak with 4 liang of Angelica sinensis in light vinegar for one day, sun-dry, and discard the Angelica sinensis. Combine these four portions into one batch), 2 liang of Southern Frankincense, and 5 qian of Hundred Herbs Ash.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; use a paste made from Angelica sinensis, vinegar, safflower, and boiled rice to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
