Head Plague Decoction

Head Plague Decoction,Severe Head Plague. Damp-heat injures the crown of the head, causing swelling as large as a measuring bucket; the swelling is red and headless, or may form nodules with a base, leading to profuse sweating and a sensation of steam rising from the body. At onset, there is aversion to cold and high fever, heaviness of the body, pain in the head and face, inability to open the eyes, shortness of breath, and difficulty swallowing; in severe cases, the throat becomes completely blocked, preventing eating or drinking, accompanied by a dry tongue and mouth, and a state of confusion and restlessness.
