Drug Formulation

5 qian of frankincense, 5 qian of myrrh (ground separately), 5 qian of earthworms (cleaned of soil), 5 qian of whole scorpions (legs and wings removed), 5 qian of wild Aconite, 1 liang of Wuyao (roasted), 1 liang of musk, 1 centipede (legs removed, roasted), and 2 pieces of Sichuan Aconite (raw, peeled and tips removed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 7, 10, or 15 pills per dose, mixed with a small amount of musk, and swallow them on an empty stomach with a small amount of wine.After 7 days of treatment, there will be slight improvement; after half a month, a wind-induced rash may appear all over the body, which will subside after a month; with continued use, the condition will be completely cured. Subsequently, it is common to soak raw Sichuan Aconite and Myrrh in wine and take it twice daily; the “Qi-Regulating and Wind-Dispelling Decoction” may be modified by adding Frankincense, Myrrh, raw Sichuan Aconite, and a small amount of Musk, mixed with wine and taken orally; if unable to drink wine, take it with Wood Apple Decoction.

Note

Avoid hot foods for a time.
