Drug Formulation

1 hu of the herb (thoroughly peel, wash, spread out to moisten, and finely chop).

Processing

Grind the above into a fine powder, place it in a clean earthenware jar, add 2 hu of water, and soak overnight. Remove the mixture and place it in a large cauldron; boil until the volume is reduced by half. Add 5 dou of clear wine and boil until the volume is reduced to 1 hu, then strain out the residue;return the liquid to the cauldron and simmer over low heat; add 2 dou each of roasted yellow soybeans and powdered asparagus root, simmer further, stirring until well blended; when the mixture reaches a paste-like consistency, form into pills the size of marbles, let them dry, and store in a non-porous container.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills at a time, chew them thoroughly, and swallow with warm water, three times a day.
