Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Place 3 sheng of three-year-old vinegar in a copper vessel and secure it with a bamboo skewer. If taken by a woman, the discharge may resemble chicken liver, or be bright red or black like rice water, ranging from 1 sheng to 3 sheng. After the purgation, guard against wind and cold; consume one cup of congee, followed by nourishing soups and stews, as per the regimen for postpartum women; conception will occur within six months.
